Recently, during a visit to the house where I grew up, I found the game Rayman at home. It was a very popular game in the late 90s that I remember enjoying as a child.

Until I realized that... I can't play it at home. In fact, I can't play any games, watch any movies or series, or even listen to my favorite band's album in physical format. They say that discs are dead, and maybe they're right, or at least that's what vinyl records thought.

Today, vinyl is more than revived in a world surrounded by streaming formats, tripling its consumption since 2010. One of the main reasons is aesthetics. Vinyl records are eye-catching, decorative, and attractive. Why not apply this to disc players?

Today's disc players are bland, boring, and unattractive, manufactured and designed to go unnoticed.

UNTIL NOW

Cassene is a disc player that, once connected to your PC, allows you to play any video game, movie, or album as you always have, but this time, without hiding it. Just connect with its usb-C port.

The design is inspired by the transparent trend that was so prevalent in the 90s and 00s and is making a comeback in products in companies like Nothing.
